BOW DOWN COMEDY
Words: Tomi Toth

This is bow down comedy.
We reproduce it since times forgotten
and then we say: “Hi! This is me!”
Huh jeez, really? let’s see…
Let’s open the un-openable up
and find four frantic dwarfs chopping each other’s teeth off.
One goin “hi hi hi”, the other: “HA HA”, the third: “Huu huu”
and the last: “I’m scared … How much’s that blue pill again?”
To get to the proper spin, plug to the stillness upstream.
Become the beam that’s staring at you all over the place.
Nobody will look down on you and soon,
you’ll start to love what the body hates.
We’ll get ourselves as blocks, not a whole.
But we’ll sing our ass of that we’re oh, so go,
we’re cool, we know the rule and we can look down
on anything we want and sing:
I see, I think, I feel, this must be it:
I’m here, I’m real. Oh no, but this spot is short…
and how short is it?
But this spot is short and how short is it?
Let’s play diving in it.
Ha, seen from down here it’s a 2D world up there.
No shifts, just lefts and rights, all set to be fussy with.
But “ever” is broad; unthinkably across-the-board.
I cannot adhere, need to un-mold,
‘cause I think I wasn’t buying, but it somehow still got sold.
I was just learnin’ how to be
from the environment I see, you see.
After trails and trips now I see:
this is merely a bow down comedy, oh c’mon.
Do we like the movie we see?
‘Cause that’s all there is to this drollery.
Don’t ask – won’t tell.
We need partial impartiality.
The comedy I sell to you is the very one that’s sold to me.
Let’s say we meet on the street,
instead of goin’ “long time no see”, or “your haircut’s neat”
you say: “You feel so un-calm that your milieu
is turning grey.”
Now what do I say?
“Jeez, this is me, out of the comedy, well thank’s man.
Yeah, cheers!”
